Most corporate retreat venues near Dallas hand you a windowless ballroom on a floor you share with three other companies. The Penrose House is a gated, single-booking estate: when your team is here, the entire property and every meeting space belongs to you.

Every space is wired for hybrid work: high-speed Wi-Fi across the estate, dual displays with wireless presentation, an 85-inch screen with Nakamichi surround in the Plus One Lounge, and a dedicated on-site venue manager for the duration of your booking. Because the property is gated and booked to one group at a time, it is well suited to NDA-sensitive planning sessions and confidential leadership discussions.

A Retreat Venue With Lodging — Not a Conference Room You Drive Home From

The best conversations at a corporate retreat rarely happen during the session. They happen at the fire pit at 10pm, over coffee before the first meeting, walking back from dinner. Booking a hotel conference room and sending everyone to separate floors — or worse, home — removes exactly the part that makes an offsite worth the budget.

The Penrose House sleeps 28 guests across 7 designer bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, so your team stays where it works. No shuttle schedule, no room-block negotiation, no one peeling off early because they have a drive ahead of them.

• Single-day offsites: 2:00 PM arrival through midnight.
• Multi-day retreats: 4:00 PM check-in day one, full programme day two, 10:00 AM checkout day three.
• Weekday availability is typically the most flexible — useful for teams that would rather not spend a weekend.
• Complete vendor freedom: use our preferred DFW caterers, bring your own licensed and insured caterer, or self-cater using the catering-ready kitchen with dinnerware for 28+.
• Recovery and downtime built in: heated pool, hot tub, lighted pickleball court, mini-golf, theatre, arcade lounge, yoga lawn and fitness studio — all included, no add-on fees.

A note on honesty about fit: we host teams of roughly 20 to 50. If you are planning a 150-person national sales kickoff, a hotel is the right answer and we will happily say so. If you are bringing a leadership team, a department, or a founding group that needs to think without interruption, this is what the estate is built for.
